In this simple black and white optical illusion drawing you can see a group of trees. Hidden amongst the trees are a number of animals which include a lion, deer, pig and a horse. Those are the easier one which I have been able to pick out, how many animals can you spot? I believe there are at least eight hidden in this image.

When you first look at this optical illusion image it is difficult to determine what exactly you are looking at. Here we have a black oblong shaped box with some strange white shapes inside it resembling blocks but they are actually letters making up a two word sentence. The point of this illusion is to test your eyesight to see if you can pick up what the letters say. For best results close your eyes almost completely until you can make out the words. It is easy when you know how - so what does it say?

Here we have an image of a sheet of paper from an artist sketch pad pinned down on a table by four drawing pins, one in each corner to hold the paper in place to stop it from moving. On top of this paper you can see a pair of hands attached to blue cuffs from a shirt and each hand is holding a drawing pencil. This optical illusion gives the appearance that both hands are real flesh and blood while at the same time they are both drawing the blue shirt cuffs that are attached to each other.

This amazing optical illusion was created by Akiyoshi Kitaoka, Professor in the Department of Psychology, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan. In this image you can see what appears to be four rows of snakes. The top and bottom snakes are facing right while the two in the middle are facing left. When you look at these rows of snakes you will observe that they appear to be moving in the same direction as they are facing. I believe Professor Kitaoka has called this wonderful illusion "Morays".

This beautiful and gentle picture called "Family of Birds" is the work of Octavio Ocampo who is a well known artist from Mexico. In this image you can see some birds hovering around the bark of a tree, while inside the tree are two chicks with their mouths open waiting to be fed. If you look again however the image also becomes the face of a young lady.
